SOLD: Our First Home

As many of you know, Shane and I put our house up for sale and it sold in 2 days flat. Record timing... I know. Throughout the home-buying process, we have decided to "Let Go & Let God", and now, just a few weeks have passed and we could not feel more blessed.

We sold our starter home to an investment company who plans to use it as rental property. Since it all happened so quickly, we worked it out in the closing contract that we could rent the house back for a month which would give us time to close on our new home in Acworth. Our house officially sold on Friday, June 28, 2013. So now, we are officially renters. We are set to close on our new house on July 19. Fingers crossed.

We moved into this sweet home when we were engaged, and we have made so many incredible memories here. I know I will miss our quaint little home, but I am so excited to move to our dream house where we plan on raising a family.

  1. Though it might feel a little sad to leave the first house you've been in together because of the precious memories you had in it, moving into your dream house offers a lot more possibilities. And only spells a lot more moments and memories to have. It's a great thing that you were able to sell your house immediately after enlisting it. Congratulations!
