Every month minute we fall more in love with our sweet Canaan.
March was filled with lots of milestones and memories! It was fun looking back at these pictures while crafting this quick post! This chapter of life is flying by faster than I ever imagined, so it is nice to set time aside to organize these memories so we can cherish them for years to come.
St. Patrick's Day was a lot of fun! My parents came to visit and to celebrate Shane's birthday. They gave him 23 and Me, so we will soon find out just how Irish he really is!
Isn't it adorable that Canaan has the same expressions as DH and Mimi?!
Lots of open mouth slobbery kisses these days!
Canaan is really enjoying trying new foods! Basically, if it is soft or small enough then we let him try it! He really seems to like sweet potatoes, pears and pumpkin.
^^He always makes this expression! Ha!
We enjoyed a lot of back porch sittin' now that the weather has warmed up a bit!
Canaan got his first real cold, and it. was. pitiful.
We soaked up the extra cuddles.
And the drool, y'all! THE DROOL!
Bless his little pitiful heart! He hated the Nose Frida, but really couldn't nurse without it due to so much congestion.
^^His first sick appointment at the pediatrician. Don't all first time moms capture such milestones?
This particular night he refused to sleep any other way than pressed up against me with his little hand on my face. He was snoring from the congestion. Shane captured this on his was to work.
We soaked in a lavender & tea tree oil bath with epsom salt, and it REALLY helped so much!
Canaan started really rolling over in March, and has been a stomach sleeper ever since. He has graduated from the Rock N' Play for that reason, and it is so sad.
He very rarely takes a paci, and when he does it's just for a few seconds.

I just love when he has a paci because it makes him look like a little baby!
Our neighbor friend (who is just 5 days younger than Canaan) got a helmet, too!
That tongue!
This camo outfit really made me feel like a boy mom!
Pretending to be a big boy and hold his own bottle!
Haha... all that chunk!
He is literally SO HAPPY all the time!
Shane is the best Daddy! I love the way he loves us!
Finally! A picture where we look alike!
My entire family would disagree, but I see a bit of me in this picture!

Canaan met his cousin, Aiden, and of course we
had to put them in the matching outfits from Lou Lou.
My sweet cuddle bug!
Those lips!
